PS 307 Daniel Hale Williams school is located in Vinegar Hill, a gentrifying neighborhood between the Brooklyn Navy Yard and DUMBO. Our students in grades 3K-5 have been attending Art studio classes with their Art teacher, Ms. Gatoff. She joined PS 307’s community in 2017 and brought in a brand new Art program to match the level of the other subjects in the school. This Art program has had a positive effect on the students, allowing them to bring out characteristics and abilities that some of the artists never knew they had within them. 2018 was the first year PS 307 had an Art show but due to COVID-19, we've had to put it on hold for three years. We are finally continuing the tradition and making a come back!
Please take a look at some of the one-of-a-kind pieces of artwork that are up for Auction this year and then come down to PS 307 on May 18th to cast your bid. If you’re the highest bidder, you get to walk away with your very own PS 307’s little artist framed artwork!
